Winning Pitch posts maiden H1 pre-tax profit

London (Thomson Financial) – Plus Market-listed consultancy services provider Winning Pitch Plc posted a maiden first-half pretax profit and said it remains confident in its outlook.

For the six months to March 28, the company reported a pretax profit of 83,649 pounds on turnover of 750,132 pounds.

The group said it is satisfied with the progress it is making in the current financial year and added it will continue to seek acquisition opportunities to meet specific strategic objectives.

‘There remain significant near-term contract opportunities for us, which need to be closed if we are to continue the rate of growth enjoyed in the first half,’ non-executive chairman Rene Carayol said in a statement.

The launch of Winning Pitch TV, planned for September, provides the company with a key differentiator with clients, and potential new revenue streams, Winning Pitch added.
