Winning Pitch Stores with Stockport Council deal
Manchester-based Winning Pitch, a PLUS-listed firm which provides coaching support to companies looking to increase their sales, has won a contract with Stockport Council.
Winning Pitch, which floated in December with a market value of £2.5m and made its first acquisition last month, has clinched a deal to provide advice to business based at council’s Houldsworth Knowledge Village and Broadstone Mill complexes.
It adds to winning Pitch’s success in securing similar agreements with Rochdale and Oldham council’s.
Meanwhile, Winning Pitch has strengthened its board by appointing business advisor Rene Carayol as non-executive chairman and Geoff Edge, a former West Midlands MP, as non-executive director.
Chief executive John Lech said the duo have strong backgrounds in business leadership and consultancy.
