Winning Pitch buys Sheffield consultancy for £100,000

Winning Pitch, a Manchester business which provides coaching support to companies looking to increase their sales, today announced its first acquisition since it floated on the PLUS market last month.

It bought Creative Business Achievements, of Sheffield for a £100,000 in cash and shares.

CBA is a training and business development consultancy founded in 1996 by Ian Blamire and Jane Padget.

The business turned over more than £100,000 during the six months to December, mostly from Business Link support programmes.

Winning Pitch, which turned over £435,000 in nine months to September 30, has an order book of more than £1.5m. It is based at One Central Park, Collyhurst.
