Winning Pitch floats with £2.5m valuation
Winning pitch, a Manchester business, which provides coaching, and support to companies to help grow their sales, has floated on the stock market with a valuation of £2.5m.
The company’s shares began trading on PLUS – formerly known as the OFEX market – at 50p yesterday.
Founded by chief executive John Leach, 42, in 2005, Winning Post posted revenues of £285,000 for the 15 months at the end of 2006 with pre-tax profits of £152,000, and £436,000 for the nine months to September 30 this year, with profits of £141,643.
It works with public sector organisations focused on economic regeneration and development, such as Oldham and Rochdale councils and Manchester-based Business Support Solutions, and counts private firms among its clients.
Based at One Central Park, in Collyhurst, North Manchester, Winning Pitch said it was looking to raise up to £3m in equity early next year to fund its plans for expansion in Britain Europe.
