Winning Pitch buys Sheffield firm
Manchester-based consultancy firm Winning Pitch has today made its first acquisition since floating on the PLUS market last month.
The firm has bought Sheffield-based Creative Business Achievements (CBA), which was set up in 1996 by Ian Blamires and Jane Padget, for £115,000. CBA provides consultancy services to Business Link programmes, and in the six months to December 2007 had a turnover of more than £100,000.
The acquisition will be funded by the issue of 130,000 shares in Winning Pitch at 50p each, and Winning Pitch CEO John Leach said he expected it to be “earnings enhancing in the first full year of ownership.”
