Winning Pitch posts maiden profit of £83,649
Manchester-based consultancy Winning Pitch has reported a maiden pre-tax profit of £83,649 on turnover of £750,132 but warned that it needs to secure new contracts if growth is to continue at a similar rate.
The company, which listed on the Plus market (WINP) in December, provides training courses and caching sessions to entrepreneurs. It said the results, which compare with pre-tax profit of £141,643 and turnover of £435,967 in the nine months to the end of September, are a reflection of what group has delivered for customers.
“We’ve focussed in our points of difference, defined the targets and created the roadmap for getting there,” said chief executive John Leach. “The launch of Winning Pitch TV, planned for September, is the next stage in our innovation agenda. It provides us with a key differentiator with clients, and potential new revenue streams.”
Since listing in December the group has made one acquisition, buying Creative Business Achievements, as a Sheffield-based training and business development consultancy, for £100,000 non-executive director starting July 1.
Winning Pitch has said it will seek an AIM listing during the course of this year.
