Corporate Social Responsibility Policy


Winning Pitch plc regards Corporate Social Responsibility (‘CSR’) as good for society and good for business. The Winning Pitch CSR Framework consists of six core characteristics:

 

  • Understanding society; Winning Pitch seeks an understanding of its the role in society, and to discharge that responsibility with due consideration.

 

  • Building capacity; Winning Pitch seeks equitable, ethical and open external partnerships;

 

  • Questioning ‘business as usual’; Winning Pitch is always open to new ideas, challenging others to adopt new ways of thinking and questioning ‘business as usual’ attitudes;

 

  • Stakeholder relations; Winning Pitch proactively builds relationships, externally and internally, with all stakeholder groups, engaging in consultation and balancing demands;

 

  • Strategic view; Winning Pitch always takes a strategic view of the business environment, mindful of the outcomes of its actions on the short and medium term;

 

  • Harnessing diversity; Winning Pitch respects and promotes diversity through its employment policies and strategies.

 

Winning Pitch’s aim is to be economic and efficient, but also a socially aware organisation, building competitiveness whilst recognising our responsibilities for social and environmental challenges. We aim to promote integration of CSR thinking into the daily work of our people at all levels.

 

Winning Pitch is pursuing a strategy for sustainable development, integrating our business growth and development objectives with those on social progress, effective protection of the environment, prudent use of natural resources and stable levels of employment to ensure a better quality of life for everyone, now and for generations to come.

 

We recognise that our business activities have direct and indirect impacts on the societies in which we operate. We endeavor to manage these in a responsible manner, believing that sound and demonstrable performance in relation to corporate social responsibility policies and practices is a fundamental part of business success.

 

We are committed to continuous improvement in our corporate social responsibility programme and encourage our business partners to strive for matching performance. Our businesses are committed to the achievement of our policy objectives. Our performance will be reviewed periodically and externally verified to help us meet our policy goals.

Performance indicators have been identified, linked to current practice and activities.

We have set our CSR commitments towards investors, employees and clients in a framework as follows:

  • Standards of business conduct We are committed to ensuring that our business is conducted in all respects according to rigorous ethical, moral, professional and legal standards.
  • Clients We seek to provide our clients with a service hallmarked by integrity, quality and care.

 

  • Human rights we respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and seek to be guided by its provisions in the conduct of our business at all times.

 

  • Workforce We are guided by our aim to be an employer of choice. Winning Pitch promote the importance of work/life balance

 

  • Health and safety We are committed to providing a working environment which is both safe and fit for the intended purpose and ensures that health and safety issues are a priority for all business operations.

 

  • Suppliers We regard suppliers as our partners and work with them to help us achieve our policy aspirations in the delivery of our services.

 

  • Community We strive to be a good corporate citizen and to work in partnership with the communities in which we operate:

 

  • Environment We are committed to a programme of continuous improvement regarding the environment, which marks our contribution to improving the world in which we live.
