The team at Winning Pitch, led by John Leach, are committed to an ongoing programme of observation and study around the theme of mindset and its role in stimulating innovative behaviours that lead to success. The concept of spirituality, values and beliefs are being explored in more detail. We will report on our conclusions when they start to emerge.
We have a particular interest in Benedictine spirituality and how the 6th Century teachings can have an impact
on modern day business thinking. In 2009 Father Christopher Jamison – Abbot at Worth Abbey was interviewed with the main aim of seeking his views on what business can learn from The Rule of St Benedict. Abbot Christopher Jamison is a best selling author (Finding Sanctuary and Finding Happiness) and was the main contributor to The Monastery (transmitted by BBC 2005/6) – his next TV series is due to televised over the coming months - Silence in the City.
