The Brexit Business Support Scheme is designed at helping SMEs become more resilient to the impacts of Brexit. Businesses’ that want to become better prepared and overcome some of the challenges related to Brexit, can receive a voucher 100% funded between £2,500 - £5,000.

The Brexit Business Support Scheme is individually tailored to each business, helping business leaders assess and prioritise the issues that will impact most on the long-term value of the business. As part of this scheme, businesses can use the voucher for a variety of activities including, but not limited to:

  • Accountancy support to help with the Tax Changes, Currency Volatility, Profitability and Funding for Growth.

  • Legal support to aid with changes in supplier and customer contracts, legislation and intellectual property.

  • Consultative support in assisting with changes to the supply chain, customers and people.


As the Brexit Business Support Scheme is fully funded by the Leeds Enterprise Partnership, the following businesses’ are eligible to apply:

  • SMEs are defined as a business:

    • Less than €50m Turnover

    • Less than €40m on their Balance Sheet

    • Less than 250 Employees

  • All SMEs applying to the Programme must be incorporated for more than 12 months.

  • State Aid: Received less than €200k in Public Funding over the last 3 years

  • Be operating within the Leeds City Region. This includes Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York.
