The Investment Readiness Programme is designed to enable SMEs and Social Enterprises to better understand the full and diverse range of finance options and products in the market that best support their growth plans. Eligible companies will be able to access a bespoke programme of support to help them prepare robust and compelling proposals for external investment and finance including;

 

• Funding Workshops – Understanding the constantly shifting finance landscape is a challenge for many business leaders. We have created a modular programme of workshops to support the growth ambitions of SMEs and Social Enterprises ranging from ‘understanding your own finances’, ‘creating winning finance documents’ through to ‘scaling up a social enterprise’ and more complex ‘raising equity/debit finance’ topics.

 

• Peer-Peer Networks - Our Peer-2-Peer Networks present a new approach to tackling the challenges of growing a business by pooling the experience and expertise of other growth-wish business owners.  We will create and facilitate bi-monthly Peer-2-Peer networks for SMEs/Social Enterprises to share funding challenges, contacts and tips with other business leaders.

 

• Funding Clinics to discuss individual funding requirements and introductions to suitable finance providers/investment groups

 

• 1-2-1 Coaching to develop business plans with financial statements and investment proposition

 

• Funder Introductions to an agreed set of hand-picked lenders in an FCA compliant manner.
